Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Dark cherry notes are complemented by flavors of baking spices and subtle hints of black olive and tomato leaf. The mouthfeel is silky viscosity, still supported by the wine's round structure.
Winemaker Notes
"To me this Cabernet Sauvignon just screams Left Bank Bordeaux. It's got so many classic characters of an old world style Cabernet. It has the fruit, it has some red cherry, some black cherry. But if you look for it, it's got black olive, it's got tomato leaf. Do you like to garden? You ever smell tomato leaves? That's a very classic Cabernet character. But most importantly, it's got that rich density, that mouth coating viscosity on the mid palate, and then the tannin on the finish that just goes on for a long time. It has structure, it has density, but it has approachability at the same time, which is one thing I really love about this wine." - Joshua Maloney
