Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Clean, crisp apple with glazed pear notes. A gorgeous bright lift transcends into a stone fruit bake with light Vanilla custard.
Winemaker Notes
"I think a lot of you will enjoy our Chardonnay, which is listed as Columbia Valley, but if we were to bottle it today, we could label it as Goose Gap AVA instead. So you can probably guess where that one comes from. But the wines from that area are very bright. They've got a lot of great acidity to them.
Sometimes a wine is defined by what it's not. This is not a California chardonnay. This wine is bright and it's pleasant, and it goes well with food, but it goes well by itself, and that's really what we love about it is that this wine has so much versatility, but it's not ponderous, it's not overbearing."
